There are many qualities each of us have for building a home business. I want to address one that I feel would be near the top of my list or possibly at the top of the list. The word is Initiative.
Initiative means to take the first step, lead the way, get started without having to be pushed into action, get-up-and-go. When I think of what initiative means, that is the kind of person that makes this business work. When they are ready they get after it. They start….NOW!
Home Business owners are not employees. This means we must take the initiative to get ourselves moving. It isn’t the company’s responsibility, it isn’t up to your upline, you or I must take the initiative and take the steps we know we should take. It might just be going to a meeting, or listening to a CD or watching a DVD, getting an appointment, reading a book… whatever you do to market your business.
If you truly want your business to grow, part of the answer is very simple. Make a decision, be a leader, get started… be a person that is known for taking the initiative.
